WALK: Visual smog of Ústí

Smog? And not only the chemical one, the visual one is here too! In other words, even in a tasteless, repulsive and kitsch view, you can look for an interesting profile of the city. The walk through the city center will focus on, for example, advertising in public space, graphic waste and how the visuals of the city affect our everyday life. On Friday, before the festival ends, we will offer entertainment, but at the same time reflection on public space.

Tereza Bonaventurová is a photographer and visual artist who, in her photographic work, has long been reflecting on the current form of Czech and foreign cities, their immediate surroundings and layout. She also often alternatively depicts desecrated tourist destinations and reflects on the presentation of a kind of surreality of places sought after by tourists and the effects of overtourism in general. She is also a curator at Galeria Fotografic or writes a column for Host magazine.
