Synopsis
When the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Svetlana went to the Czech Republic with her two daughters. Now she intends to return to the war-torn country. Christmas is approaching and the family wants to spend it with their husband and father, who stayed in the Kyiv region. The camera impartially records the preparation for this risky journey.

Olexi Chubun was born in a Ukrainian town Shostka. Since he turned 17 he went to Poland - that's why the topic of migration is present in all his movies. After studying directing in Gdynia Film School he worked in Kyiv making commercials and tv shows. Now Olexi is finishing the directing department at FAMU in Prague and works on the next projects.
