Death of a beloved pet is a difficult thing to deal with, and even though we try to prepare for it, it always seems to come too soon. This is a story of a boy and his dog Dede, who passes away suddenly and the boy is left alone with his grief.

Wiktor moves into a recently bought flat, which turns out to have belonged to Lech Wałęsa. Numerous groups of people brought by curiosity and sympathy for the politician appear under the windows. Wiktor’s wife comes up with a perverse idea and he soon learns what it is like to ‘be somebody’.

Little boy Martin has a visual disorder. He stays at home alone with his only friend - a magical toy called Francis. When he is invited to play football with the kids on the street he happily joins the game but everything results in bullying, theft, and a chase to get Francis back.
