A Transient Taste
Synopsis
The very special varieties of tomatoes that grow in the old Rossi family greenhouse are in danger of rot even though little Félie is caring for them with all her heart and will. Her mother Antonia, famous for selling the most delicious and most colorful tomatoes all over the country, has lost her sense of taste since her partner and Félies father has died. Not understandable for Félie who doesn’t recognize her mother anymore since, yet needs her more than ever. Only granny Guiseppa keeps mother and daughter together but also wants to go back to Italy… to the country where tomatoes are much sweeter, naturally.
The film participated in the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival 2023, among others.
