Tereza Czesany Dvořáková
Tereza Czesany Dvořáková studied film studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University and production at FAMU. She is currently the head of the Producing Department at FAMU, an assistant professor at Film Studies Department at Faculty of Arts of Charles University and a pedagogue at the Department of Documentary Film at FAMU.
She is participating in various research projects and international academic conferences and is a member of committees. She has also worked as an expert and manager in the audiovisual field for a long time. In 2009-2015 and 2019-2022 she was a member of the Council of the State Cinematography Fund (2009-2012 Vice-Chairman). In 2012-2016 she worked as the Director of the Section of Non-Audiovisual Collections, Research and Information of the National Film Archive.
Between 2017-2022 she was the editor of the scientific journal ArteActa. She initiated the creation and was the first Chair of the Association for Film and Audiovisual Education. She is the (co-)author of academic and pop-scientific papers and publications, including three children's books about film and television.
