Rebekka Garrido
Rebekka Garrido is a producer and post production supervisor with extensive experience in the film industry.
Her career began in 1998 as a production assistant at Essential Film in Berlin, where she worked on films by prominent directors such as U. Seidel, J. Hauser, Lars von Trier, and R. Andersson. She transitioned to become an international sales agent at The Coproduction Office in Paris in 2002 and co-founded The Post Republic, a Berlin-based post-production house in 2007.
In 2014, Rebekka founded Manderley Films, a production company based in Berlin. Manderley Films focuses on producing feature films as well as art and experimental films, and also offers post-production services for series and feature films.
Rebekka's expertise and industry knowledge have been sought after by various organizations, including her leadership of the East-West coproduction market in Cottbus from 2015 to 2018. Rebekka has also been invited as an expert to esteemed film events such as Eave, Midpoint, Sarajevo Cinelink, Meetings on the Bridge, Odessa Film Festival, and the Atelier in Cannes.
