Hrönn Marinósdóttir

Hrönn Marinósdóttir studied political science at the University of Iceland and in Berlin. Her final master thesis was on policy issues regarding an international film festival established in Reykjavík, Iceland. She was correspondant for various companies of the Icelandic Press in Berlin and journalist at Morgunbladid newspaper in Iceland.  She is founder and festival Director of the annual Reykjavík International Film Festival (RIFF) taking place at the end of September. Simultaneously gives lectures on cinema and film related subjects at the university of Iceland and other schools.
