Submitting to the 2021 ELBE DOCK International Film Festival

WHAT?

 

The prestigious Pavel Koutecký Award was originally founded as a memorial prize for documentary filmmaker Pavel Koutecký and is now meant to be awarded for a documentary debut (first and second movies). The ELBE DOCK Award has been newly established for a Central European debut.

WHY?

 

THE PAVEL KOUTECKY AWARD FOR FEATURE-LENGTH DOCUMENTARY
The Pavel Koutecky Award for Czech feature-length first and second documentary film made by a Czech director or made in Czech production is awarded to the film’s director together with the financial award of CZK 100.000.

THE PAVEL KOUTECKY AWARD FOR SHORT DOCUMENTARY
The Pavel Koutecky Award for Czech short first and second documentary film made by a Czech director or made in Czech production is awarded to the film’s director together with the financial award of CZK 40.000.

THE ELBE DOCK AWARD FOR FEATURE-LENGTH FILM
The ELBE DOCK Award for Central European (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Czechia) feature-length first and second documentary and fiction film is awarded to the film’s director together with the financial award of 2.000 Euro.

THE ELBE DOCK AWARD FOR SHORT FILM
The ELBE DOCK Award for Central European (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Czechia) short first and second documentary and fiction film is awarded to the film’s director together with the financial award of 800 Euro.
