Representatives from two V4 countries – musicians, who have created unique pieces of music for documentary films in confrontation with reality will make a live presentation for festival viewers. This program will be accompanied by a rather informal discussion. The event is a follow-up to last season, which also included talks by documentary film composers. The project now continues with a special emphasis on musicians composing music based on reality, with a reach into audiovisual new media. Contemporary music has the ability to capture soundscapes surrounding us and often even reflects the current social climate. As part of their presentation, the invited guests will present their music production. They will also expose the principles of their work in a form of a workshop and one of them will take part in a FILM INN Masterclass.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
