IMPORTANT PROGRAMME SECTIONS:

Pavel Koutecký Award Ceremony and Competition Film Screening

The former non-stop bar Ještěrka, which was also previously referred to as a factory for human misery, will get a completely different dimension with the launch and awarding of the Pavel Koutecký Award. In addition, the competition films will also be screened there. 7 short documentaries and 5 feature debuts! What are they? Find out in the SCHEDULE.

ED Award for Short Central European Film

Festival visitors will have the opportunity to discover the allure of short films through the screening of dozens of selected short films. Traditionally, these will include films nominated for the ELBE DOCK AWARD, many of which have already won awards at prestigious festivals. In the schedule, the films can be found under the title CENTRAL.

ED Award for a short film from Northern Europe

It is new this year! The category expands the range of films and industry guests that the ELBE DOCK will welcome this year. The section includes documentaries, animated films as well as feature films. The jury will decide between fifteen films in competition from filmmakers from the Nordic countries. In the schedule, these films can be found under the title NORDIC.

Public and private Workshops

ELBE DOCK also includes public and private workshops. The public ones can also already be seen in our schedule. Are you interested in film festival dramaturgy or marketing strategy for films using AI? Let your short film shine!

Wide accompanying programme - Swap, music, family day, walks

As part of the accompanying programme, you can look forward to the traditional Saturday family day. Activities for children such as creative workshops, film screenings for the little ones, or the Walk: To See With Our Ears. What is it? Read HERE.

However, it's not the only walk. You can also look forward to, for example, a Walk with Ladislav Čumba, or Tour de bar! You will also have the opportunity to listen to the band JöëK and Hrrhrrrrhrr, or to make yourself happy with new pieces for your wardrobe at our SWAP!

Debuts and bizarros and much more!

There is never enough bizarro, or is Česká soda 2.0 too much? And do you know the Jiří Kára's Wedding? Do you know what happened to the participants of this legendary wedding and who they were? The Jiří Kára's Wedding and the new documentary Mortal Kára will not be missing at our festival!
